Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Barbara follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Juan was an absolute CHAMP!!! We live in an old building that required significant support and he worked with us every step of the way--even making sure to send someone of THE SAME DAY we started having connection troubles. Make sure you ask for him when you get there, he will take care of you! Also, shout out to Jimmy--he was our point of contact when Juan wasn't working. Those two offered exceptional customer service. I know Cox as a conglomerate might be a frustrating business to deal with but their agents went above and beyond and I am grateful to them.

Cox charged $820.64- as an βearly termination feeβ 2 months after I disconnected our service after 4 years. Why didn't they notify me at the time of the disconnection when I did it in April? Park (the service representative) said he was not in the conversation when I terminated service so I needed to pay the penalty if the contract said so. I clearly saw that his goal was make me pay this charge, so I asked he minded if I record the conversation from there. He said βYES, I MINDβ and refused when they are already recording. In California, I have a right to record this conversation so I told him I would start recording. Immediately after, he put me on hold to speak his supervisor. He came back to the line and said all the charges are credited to $0. My point here is; βYou can record the conversation both you and Cox must be aware of it (in California). When a Cox notifies you that the call is being recorded for training purposes, they are establishing two-party (or all-party) consent. This means you are legally allowed to record your end of the call, provided you explicitly state that you are also recording them and they choose to continue the conversation.β Please notify customer

Cox is literally the worst company in town. For sure the worst internet provider, because they have become slow, congested and undependable. But really they are just a terrible company with the lowest, most insincere kind of people working for them. I don't understand how they are still in business, except that the government allows it. If enough people complain we can break their monopoly. We deserve better.

Well, this company the worst ever. The management of our apartment subscribed internet and tv service for tenants. When the managemnt cancels the plan, they charged me without providing any notice. I called the 1st customer service and she hang up the call. 2nd call, no solution. I will close the bill which I am not supposed to pay (no agreemnt!, no plan!, no letter!) and switch to T-mobile which has better service. Please stay away from COX at Santa Barbara. They are the worst ever.
